Early Super Bowl and Kentucky Derby Futures

One of the strategies I like to use is finding early value in the Kentucky Derby and Super Bowl futures.  While NFL teams can often make a quick turn around and get into the playoffs, it's rare that they win.  We know the list of teams that are the legitimate contenders, so no we just need to find the value.  First, 4-1 on the Patriots to repeat actually seems like pretty good odds.  The other odds I am interested in are the Seahawks at 14-1 and the NY Giants at 25-1.  The Seahawks had some injuries on defense and offensive line issues that cost them down the stretch, while the Giants' inability to run the ball was what killed them.  If either team can correct those issues, they are right there at great odds.  If you want a long shot, try the Tennessee Titans at 33-1.  They have a young emerging quarterback in Mariota, and the #2 ranked run game in the NFL.  33-1 is not bad at all.  For the Kentucky Derby, Classic Empire's Holy Bull flop is fine with me as his first race off the layoff.  8-1 odds seems pretty good for the Breeders' Cup Juvenile winner.  The other horse to consider at this point is Mastery.  You will be happy you got 7.5-1 odds on a Baffert horse in the gate, and he looks like he has a ton of upside.  We will wait on horses like McCraken, Irish War Cry, El Areeb, and Mo Town, but they are all on the radar.
